"We like to support local farms for lots of reasons," said David Larkworthy, chef and co-owner of 5 Seasons Brewing Company in Sandy Springs, Georgia, when I interviewed him recently, "but mostly we like to serve what they grow because customers love to eat it."
I took my mother to lunch at "the 5" recently and had a truly amazing meal--including Charlotte and Wes' kuributo pork. I recognized their okra in the gumbo and their tomatoes on my mother's salad, like old friends I knew in their everyday clothes, and here they were, all dressed up and fancy. "Wow, you look nice!" I wanted to say.

We're passionate about serving local produce, all-natural meats and artisanal cheeses. As part of a sustainable, natural cycle, we add our brewer's spent grain to our home-baked bread and share the rest with a local organic farm, where it is composted to grow our vegetables. We believe in conserving the spirit of the farm and supporting local farmers.
