Get to Know Your Neighborhood Markets

What a cute, cute store Return to Eden is! Just look at that mural! I couldn't get a shot of the entire parking lot, but Return to Eden is nestled in the shadow of an enormous Publix Supermarket, holding its ground while commercial growth springs up around it.

In the seventeen years I have lived in Atlanta, I have been in this parking lot a hundred times, mostly to go to the excellent movie theater, Tara, which is one of the only places left where you can consistently find indie films in Atlanta. Yet I have never once ventured a little farther back in the lot to go to this store. I can't believe what I've been missing!

Return to Eden is one of only four completely-vegetarian health food stores in the country. It carries local, seasonal, organic produce, on which it offers a 20% discount on Sunday mornings, as well as a full line of grocery items, herbs, supplements, books, and more. Family-owned and operated, Return to Eden has friendly employees, eye-catching signage throughout the store, and sharp-looking Return to Eden reusable shopping bags for only 99 cents.
